As a couple, Peggy and Joe delighted in making lifetime memories, traveling and cruising the Caribbean Islands, being involved with their blended family and being fun-loving grandparents, enjoying the camping life with longtime friends and making new friends along the way. Colon and spent over thirty years with her loving husband and best friend. On February 4, 1995, Peggy married Joseph R. Peggy was a dedicated, loving mother, filled with adventure and an overwhelming joy for daily life in addition to making special memories. Peggy married in New York, had two of her three children, Missy and Richard and in the early 1970’s moved to Southeast Louisiana where she had her third child, Shelly, in 1975. She had an accomplished career as a cardiac-telemetry RN, working at De La Ronde Medical Center in Chalmette, LA, Methodist Hospital in NOLA, and Slidell Memorial Hospital in Slidell, LA until she retired from nursing after 40 plus years of service.

She became a licensed Registered Nurse in New York in 1970 and then in Louisiana in 1973. Peggy continued her nursing education at Kings County Hospital School of Nursing in Brooklyn, New York and was honored in her graduating class of 1970. Peggy was raised in Rutland and attended Mount Saint Joseph Academy where she graduated from in 1964.Īfter graduating from high school, she enrolled in Fanny Allen Memorial School of Practical Nursing and graduated in 1967 as a LPN. Peggy was born Septemin Rutland, Vermont, daughter of Peter Alexander Badgewick and Margaret Ann Kent. On Thursday, April 20,2023, Margaret “Peggy” Ann Colon, age 76 of Pearl River, LA, passed away with her loving husband, Joe and her three devoted children, Missy, Richard and Shelly at her side as she went peacefully to our Lord in heaven. Condon’s honor will be held on Friday May 5, 2023, at 1 pm with visitation from 11 am until 3:00 PM, from the chapel of Williams Funeral Home 67525 Hwy 41 Pearl River, LA 70452.

He is now reunited with his parents Edward “Bubba” and Carmel “Mel” Condon, his brother Danny Condon, and his nephew Duane Hattier. Alphonse is survived by his loving wife Marie “Rosy” Condon, his children Kristy Chase (Charlie), Danny White, and Brandi Rawashdeh, his siblings Billy Condon, Carol Condon, and Carmel Johnson, grandchildren whom he adored Daniel White, Samantha McPherson, Devin Rawashdeh, and Haley Rawashdeh, and a host of nieces and nephews. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends. He was very passionate about his craftsmanship and his amazing skills at woodwork. He would give the shirt off his back to any and everyone. Condon was an amazing man, to know him was to love him. On Sunday April 30, 2023, Alphonse James Condon, age 71 of Slidell, LA passed away in the comfort of his home.
